Your cards for the week beginning June 27, 2021, are the Seven of Pentacles and the Nine of Chalices (Cups). The cards are from the Golden Tarot of Klimt.

You may find the longer you debate something, the longer it rots on the vine. This means you must move from being stagnated to taking action. Look ahead, see what’s at your crossroads. If you think you know what it is, think again just to be sure. Have an open mind about it and look for other options and possibilities. You’ve put so much work into this, do not let it go to waste or go past its time. This is when you’ll find your deepest joy, as your worries and problems will give way to nothing less than a deep satisfaction and an effortless good time.

Enjoy your week! It’ll be memorable.

About the deck . . .

From the publisher:

In twentieth century Vienna, the art of Gustav Klimt held a primary position. Inspired by this modern master, the Golden Tarot of Klimt is teeming with impressions, stamped in gold, that recount love, death, sensuality, and regeneration.

From the little white book (LWB) that comes with the deck:

Klimt and his strong allegorical subjects inspired the Tarot designed by A. A. Atanassov. Every now and then a fundamental aspect of the artwork of the great Viennese artist emerges, or rather the revival of figurative and compositional aspects of Hellenic classicism. A revival with roots in the Nietzschean culture that indicates a return to the origin; that is, to that ancient Greek world where authentic aesthetic and ethical models can still be found uncontaminated.

The symbolism inherent in the Tarot is perfectly coherent with that symbolist culture that also gave origin to Klimt’s artwork. The pictorial images of the Viennese artist are, in fact, full hermeticism: his works seem to be depictions of a mystery and even more so an expression of emotions and drives. And so Adorno and his Aesthetic Theory, which traces the essence of art to an enigma, comes to mind.
